Using Evernote to Remember Everything
Need a mobile, automatically syncing, nearly omnipresent memory assistant? Check out Evernote. It does almost everything: web site bookmarking, storing and retrieving Quick Notes, capturing and annotating images, making lists, storing audio content and more. We'll learn how to do all this while having more fun than is probably legal in many states. Bring a mobile device with the Evernote app installed.

Graphic organizers visually display information and patterns/relationships in that information. Teachers and students can use them before, during and after instruction as well as for assessments. Resources for locating various types of graphic organizers as well as examples of K-12 implementation across the curriculum will be explored and practiced. Learn about electronic math and science textbooks that are based on the CK-12 flexbook model, assembled by teachers from central Minnesota schools, aligned to state standards and available to all schools. Google Drive provides an excellent opportunity for collaboration. Participants will examine uses of Google Documents and Google Forms, exploring the collaborative features of Google Documents and practical ways to use them with school staff and the school community, along with learning how to use Google Forms for collecting data during walkthroughs, observations and other administrative tasks.
