Assessing and Reflecting on Learning Using an iPad
Evaluating student learning can be as simple as a click of a button by collecting assessments digitally. From digital exit cards to formal summative assessments, the iPad helps teachers take the pulse of student learning. Elements of the iPad also let students both complete their work and reflect on their learning. Come learn some strategies for assessing students and helping them to reflect on their work. Participants should bring their own iPad.

iPad Applications and Uses for Administrators
This session will provide administrators an opportunity to explore effective uses, applications and creative ways to use the iPad in their professional life to support evaluation, organization, and communication. The presenter will demonstrate applications (both free and of minimal cost) on the iPad including: Book Creator Free, Common Core Look Fors (CCL4s), Good Reader, Idea Sketch, iTunesU, and Join Me. Information on iPad management within the school setting will also be shared. Participants are encouraged to bring their iPads so they can download and try out suggested applications.

We will review the basics of filming, learn how to use iMovie, explore equipment and storage options, examine grading rubrics, review possible projects for all ages and learn how to share movies.
