Using LEGO Mindstorms Robots to Teach STEM Skills

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Learn how to use the LEGO Mindstorms robot building system to engage and inspire your students to exercise key STEM skills. Bring a laptop with the Mindstorms NXT-G software (any version) installed and your LEGO robot kit (assembled or not). You will learn how to build a basic robot and then program it to perform a range of tasks, testing it on our obstacle course. Along the way, you will learn effective ways to use this technology to teach STEM concepts. Some laptops and robots will be available. May contain commercial content.
