Teaching and Learning on an iPad

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Consider a vision where less is more and the words "focus" and "simplicity" describe how teachers and students approach technology. This session will focus on how technology can be effectively used to address an overall learning environment. You will see a select collection of iPad apps that focus on creativity, collaboration, professional development, assessment and overall work flow and can be used in either a 1:1 program or a cart model. Bring your own iPad.

Director of Instructional Technology, Becker Public Schools
I am currently the Director of Instructional Technology for Becker Public Schools. We are involved in an expanding iPad 1:1 initiative in Grades K-12. Our High School and Middle School have been recognized as an Apple Distinguished Program. I believe very strongly in leveraging resources to support self-directed learning to communicate, create, collaborate, and think critically.
